When I was little I was terrified of flying.
That stems from the fact I always like to know how something works before I trust it. Doing an apprenticeship gave me the opportunity
to do hands-on things that I wouldn’t have done at university. I’m ultimately accountable for people’s
safety. I lead a large team stripping down aircraft
engines. I make sure they’re repaired in the most safe way possible. Knowing how they work makes me even more passionate about seeing them in the skies.
