How To: Inside-Grip Bicep Curl With E-Z Bar Curl

What’s going on Hermanation? I’m going to show you guys how to do a inside grip EZ curls using an EZ curl barbell Okay, so first thing you want to do is get your weight When you pick it up, you’re going to put your hands on the inside grips Okay Then from here what you’re going to do is you’re gonna bring your arms forward so your elbows stay in front of your hips You’re going to start at full extension, okay? Then as you bring the weight up you maintain a slight bend in your knees you maintain neutral spine you’re going to keep your wrists straight and As you bring the bar up you can make sure your elbows stay in front of your hips and then on the way down You’re also gonna make sure your elbows stay in front of your hips Okay Come to a full extension Bring it all the way up, breathe out on the way up Come down to a full extension Once fully extended bring it back up Do one more all the way down control on the way down then bring it back up Breathe out on the way up and That’s how you do inside grip EZ curls using EZ Curl barbell For more great information feel free subscribe to my channel and as always more good stuff coming soon. 6. Nyab UK says:

@ScottHermanFitness Not bad demo dude but 1. Why would you demo without your top on? 2. Your stance for any bicep curl should be legs open and knees slightly bent, it gives you more stability when your body wants to begin the swinging action which takes the effort away from your bicep. Seen worse in the gym though

  7. Vaginaattori says:

@Anarchyffan yeah if you elevate them ridicilously high which this guy doesn't do at all.

Mr. Herman, I've had some problems with bursitis in my forearms when I do bicep curls. Is that a function of too much weight or too many reps for that group (I do biceps in the same day I do lat rows) or bad form or is bursitis just 1 of those things that people with long arms can't avoid?

HELP!!!!!! I've been doing biceps for the past 5 weeks at home. I do EZ bar curls, preacher curls (have preacher bench) – I use PROPER FORM on both. PROBLEM – my forearms do 95% of the work and my biceps just <5% I noticed I now have forearm muscles… My forearms are very weak by the way. Each set I do is of 8-9 reps of maximum weight. 4 sets each exercise…. Biceps = no pump, no pain. And the next day I can do it all over again. WTH! If I add hammer curls then "tendonitis" kicks in :/. …

  26. xBl00dBrothersX says:

Close grip is for the "peak" of your biceps, and wide-grip is primarily for the "outer bicep".

  27. xBl00dBrothersX says:

NP. A better answer: close-grip works mostly on the "main bicep" and wide-grip on the smaller/outer bicep. Google anatomy of biceps and you'll see what I mean.

QUESTION!!!: my biceps have noticeably grown with this exercise. I have the cephalic vein on both. But problem is – my biceps don't hurt anymore and instead my forearms and left hand hurt. Try this fabulous compound exercise that works most of the upper body (use a curl bar)——Lay down on a flat bench with no posts or supports back of your head…..do 12 bent arm pullovers with a 3-4 inch grip going as far as comfortable over your head in an arc return to the chest and repeat. When you have finished 12 of them immediately do 12 bench presses immediately with the same grip do 6 bent arm pullovers immediately do 6 bench presses with the same 3 -4 inch grip. Do two sets….suggestion do not use too much weight to start and this is a very difficult but very intense exercise for the triceps. lats are also worked well as are pecs….give this compound exercise a try
