I had bed bugs once. The cheapest way to kill them is with heat. I raised the temperature of the room to 130 degrees with 3 heaters. That did it, just don't catch your house on fire.

Here's some more tips. Buy jumbo garbage bags and keep your suitcase sealed inside of it (especially at night) and store it far away from your bed! When you get home DO NOT bring your clothes in the house, immediately put all of your clothes in the dryer on high heat for 30 minutes to kill any hitchhikers and eggs! Also check this website before staying in a hotel:www.bedbugreports.com and if you find bedbugs in your hotel, report it to the website and THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT IMMEDIATELY!
