September 27, 2019 15 Comments

See how high we can get in this Concorde before we actually start loosing speed. Hey guys, what’s up, and welcome back to another video today We’re gonna be flying the Concord again in real flight simulator. We’re gonna be doing a speed and altitude test We’re gonna see how fast we can fly the concorde and how high we can actually fly also Don’t forget to hit the big red button down below if you want to see more of this content and make sure to leave a thumbs Okay, so we’ve just taken off of Los Angeles Airport in California and we are in the Pepsi livery today Okay, so we’ve just taken off of Los Angeles Airport in California and we are in the Pepsi livery today Okay, so we’re gonna try and push the Concorde to its limits here so it says here the top speed of the concorde is two thousand one hundred and seventy nine kilometers an hour, which is about 1176 kts. As you can see here this service ceiling for the concorde is around 60,000 feet. We’re gonna try and beat that So as you can see here a speed counter with our indicated airspeed So as you can see here a speed counter with our indicated airspeed Around four hundred and twenty seven ground speed right now and increasing and we’re just climbing up as high as we can go We’re stalling so I’m gonna push forward to increase speed this is what happens when you climb too high you lose all our speed We’re stalling so I’m gonna push forward to increase speed this is what happens when you climb too high you lose all our speed Well, let’s pull down a bit So we’re now back on track and we’re gonna round 350 ground speed right now and our alt is around 31,000 32,000 And let’s check out the window view So we’re climbing out of California now So we’re climbing out of California now As you can see our speed is slowly increasing. I mean it’s not getting Up right now, but it’s increasing. We’re about We are about 40,000 now so just under 20,000 away Indicated. Okay, so 1206 kts ground speed Indicated. Okay, so 1206 kts ground speed 1207 55 thousand feet so 5,000 away, just look at us from the runway view 58,000. We’re so close to 60,000 I’m just gonna reduce my vs so we don’t stall out 59 thousand 59 thousand Few moments later 60,000. Oh, Lets see how high we can get in this Concorde before we actually start to lose speed There we go. Seventy-one thousand and low speed now So we’re gonna have to pull down to get out of this in case we stall which can see our indicated airspeed is now 76 knots. we’re pulling down out of the stall and 76 knots. we’re pulling down out of the stall and Let’s just go and final for Los Angeles again here we are on final for Los Angeles Okay, so we’ve now landed the Pepsi Okay, so we’ve now landed the Pepsi Let’s go ahead and shut all of our engines off Well, as you can see we did actually beat this ceiling altitude the ceiling altitude was Let’s go ahead and shut all of our engines off Well, as you can see we did actually beat this ceiling altitude the ceiling altitude was 1,200 knots or something like that. So we definitely got more than the top speed for the Concorde. That’s it for this video guys 70,000 and we definitely got more speed. I think her top speed was what? 1,200 knots or something like that. So we definitely got more than the top speed for the Concorde. That’s it for this video guys Thank you so so much for watching Make sure to let me know in the comments below how high you have got with the Concorde in real flight simulator and how fast you have flown the Concorde and I’ll see you guys tomorrow as always Concorde livery back at Los Angeles and let’s go ahead and park up at the gate

How high and fast have you flown the Concorde in a flight simulator? I’m curious to know.

    2117 km 😱

I have fly today in P3d with the concorde. London to New york flying mach2. And the full flight its about 3h its really nice

  4. Infiniteflight Soilder says:

Did you know you can recover from a stall but not from a nose dive as the mechanism slows down e.g Cessna so your muscles are stronger as there is no resistance but when you nose dive the mechanism roles forward which is vertically impossible for a human to overcome I don’t know about jet planes but definitely light aircraft 😁

Ngl this game seems real fun

The fastest I got was 1220knts (not sure what speed setting I was on though 🤔) and FL700 before I gave up lol. I was actually going to upload something similar to this but will think of something else xD

That was an intensely fast approach to the gate lol!

I already told the developers this problem and they responded:
    Me:
Dear developers, There has been a bug I just found out for Concorde autopilot, it seems can’t control the speed too well and often lose speed when cruising, leading the aircraft to lose altitude but we won’t know because we had autopilot on and maybe we went to do other things. Please fix the problem as I have a request on the route with the new Concorde.

    Developers:
Hi, thank you for writing us and for your feedback.
We apologize for the inconvenience you reported.
We are investigating the reported problems…

    Best regards,
    Rortos Team

And I also reported "atc cleared to land runway but there are planes on the runway" bug, and "sometimes when you are taxing and there are other planes waiting, and they never move" bug, they replied: Thanks we open a ticket on it.
