This is like a damned if you do and damned if you don't like scenario for New Orleans East because if this project goes forward it's like they'll be falling for the okey-doke under the guise of making much-needed progress because this could be very crucial for the revitalization of New Orleans East but at what cost? And for the life of me, I don't understand what's so difficult about revitalizing this part of the city it really blows my mind the way that they talk about the east as if they just don't know what to do and I call bullshit on that one.
Thank you more homes not no dame hotel instead of building that when will y'all rebuild the Lake Forest Plaza mall?
Wait. What? Do we really believe that foundation is in any shape to support new building? And if apartments were there previously, the zoning must have been changed to single family. Did someone get the zoning changed in a failed plan to put homes in place? Finally WHY would anyone stay in a hotel in New Orleans east.
No hotels? People in New Orleans prefer an empty lot, crack houses and joblessness. Left NOLA during Katrina and I haven't been back. Assbackwards people haven't learned that beggars can't be choosers!
I love my city, been gone since 08,and I highly doubt I'll ever move back. Our city is so behind the 🎱 on so many levels! 🙏
This is New Orleans EAST …the only hotels that prosper …are the one that are by the HOUR ….if you get my drift..
